Assassination Squads Should Surprise No One

Setting up Assassination Squads is the next logical step in George Bush's War in Iraq. We have after all started down the road to hell with detention of innocent people, including children, in hopes of getting their relatives to give themselves up.

If a nation is willing to incarcerate children, is it really that big of a step to start killing adults? It is not like this is the first time America assassinated people. I am very sure we have been doing this in every war we have ever been in. Do you really think that snipers only go after military targets? Google up the Phoenix Program that we had in the Vietnam war and read about the thousand and thousands of civilians we assassinated. Hunter-Killer Teams were sent out to kill those we "suspected" of helping the enemy. Who really knows how many innocent people were murdered.

Americans should not be surprised that our country uses this tactic. When you think about it, not all of those going into the service can be computer experts or work in communications, even though those are the careers that are shown in Army, Navy, and Air Force TV commercials. Somebody has to be trained to kill, after all that is what we do in war, we kill people. At least the Marine Corps shows a guy fighting with a sword, even if he is just fighting a Dragon. The Marines do tell the potential recruit he will be fighting and when it is all over he will magically turn into a clean Marine in a Dress Blue uniform.

In the Guardian Newspaper from Great Briton, "This is basically an assassination program....It is bonkers, insane. Here we are - we're already being compared to Sharon in the Arab world and we've just confirmed it by bringing in the Israelis and setting up assassination teams."

You know that every newspaper in the world is picking up this story, "Israeli advisers are helping train US special forces in aggressive counter-insurgency operations in Iraq, including the use of assassination squads against guerrilla leaders."

This will not be any surprise to the Iraqi people. The Iraqi people had to live under Saddam Hussein's Death Squads for over thirty years. They knew in their hearts that America and George Bush were no different and now they can see that they were right.

About a month ago the whole Muslim world was upset by the words of Lieutenant General William "Jerry" Boykin, when he told the world that the United States was in a Religious War with Satan. He said that our God was greater than theirs.

"The new counter-insurgency unit made up of elite troops being put together in the Pentagon is called Task Force 121," New Yorker magazine reported in Sunday's edition. "One of the planners behind the offensive is a highly controversial figure, whose role is likely to inflame Muslim opinion: Lieutenant General William "Jerry" Boykin."

So don't try and tell yourself that we are in Iraq to bring Peace and Freedom. We are there to show those "Ragheads" who is the Boss. That would be George W. Bush. No matter how we have to do it, no matter who we have to kill, be it child or adult, George Bush is going to show those people how powerful of a man he is.

Remember George Bush is making America and the world a safer place, I know this, becaues he keeps telling us that is what he is doing in Iraq, making us safer.
