George Bush Is So Addicted to Spending, He Is Making Our Children Co-sign His Loans

Of course our children don't even know they are the ones that are going to be stuck with the loan to pay off George's spending spree. 500 hundred billion in deficit this year alone and now the President wants to spend more on his addictions while cutting areas that help us all.

George wants to get reelected in the worst way. He will do anything he thinks will do just that. Just like a heroin addict, he will write a bad check to get his "fix." George will spend our children's money to satisfy his need to spend. Growing up rich, George never had to worry about budgets or spending because his family was there to bail him out, but who is going to bail America out?

When you blow your paycheck, spend your savings, and max out your credit cards it is time to stop your spending and reevaluate what the heck you are doing. America is broke, in fact we are $7,018,160,601,665.81 in debt as of Feb. 2, 2004 at 9:20:14 GMT and that debt has been growing at a rate of 1,880,000,000.00 dollars every day for months because of Bush spending.

According to reports about Bush's 2005 budget, we are going to spend 7% more on our military which is an added 28,000,000,000.00 dollars to the already 400 billion we spend now. Plus he wants to add another 10% to homeland security and no body knows how much we really spend on that, but he will be cutting the Environmental Protection Agency and the Agriculture Department.

Food and clean air are really not that big of a priority in George Bush's life. Have any of you wondered why the rest of the world has not gone nuts about greater military spending or homeland security? Why is the United States spending billions when even by US Government estimates, there are only a few thousand terrorists. Tell me, Did Osama bin Laden do a number on us or what? The United States is very close to spending more money on our military than the rest of the world combined is spending on theirs.

I know lots of people compare George Bush's administration with Adolph Hitler's of the late1930s. Well our President's spending is going in the same direction that Adolph's did when he was looking for another term. Are we about to take on the whole world like Germany did? I think that is a valid question.

Hitler destroyed his country and George Bush is about to destroy ours. Adolph used a war to get his destruction, while George Bush is using our kids check book. What do you think; can we keep spending money we don't have forever?

I have a hard time trying to figure out just how much money we owe and how much we are spending, so I started looking for a way to explain it. In a speech before a joint session of Congress in 1981, Ronald Reagan was explaining to these legislatures how much a trillion dollars was. He said that if you had a thousand one thousand dollar bills, you would be a millionaire and that stack of bills would be four inches tall. If you had a trillion dollars the stack would be 67 miles high. We (the United States) are now over 7 trillion dollars in debt. So if we use Reagan's math, the stack of thousand dollar bills we owe, would be 469 miles high.

I have always been a skeptic when it comes to what politicians say so I did the math and Ronald was close. I come up with a stack of thousand dollar bills a little over 63 miles high to equal one trillion dollars. So that means that George Bush spent a stack of thousand dollar bills over 31 miles high just this year, money we don't have, money our kids will have to pay back. This is money beyond what we had come in for taxes.

I know, I know, these amounts of money are really hard to comprehend, and that is how the politicians get away with it. Soon now the Baby boomers are going to retire and we do not have the money to pay all of them what was promised. Right now we should be socking away money for that, but we can't because we have a President that won't live within a budget.

Like him or not, Bill Clinton was paying down the debt a little bit. At least he was going in the right direction. Bill balanced the budget. My whole life I have been told that the Democrats spend and make the government bigger, while the Republicans cut spending and the size of government. Now I find out that claim is hog wash.

No President in history has spent more, nor put us farther in debt, nor expanded government more than President George Bush. Our Children, Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren will have to pay for George's spending and really now, how will anyone pay off the whole debt and take care of the millions about to retire in the near future.

George Bush is destroying America!
