What Are the Republicans Trying to Hide?

I don't know what the heck is going on now. It wasn't but a couple weeks ago that George Bush was in all the papers telling the nation that he thought the Commission looking into how the terrorists could have attacked us on 9/11 should get the extension they requested. The Commission said they needed two more months in order to give a complete report.

One of the main reasons that they need this extra time is because Bush's White House stonewalled for months on giving them the information they requested. Wednesday, the White House said that Andrew Card, the President's Chief of Staff personally went to the Speaker of the House, Dennis Hastert asking him to extend the Commission's deadline.

John Feehery, the Speakers spokesman said Hastert told the White House and members of the House Republican conference that "it's a bad idea to extend the commission and... that we're not going to bring any legislation up."

Now these guys are all Republicans and if they wanted the American people to find out what happened on 9/11 they would give that extension. Many people have said that George Bush knew about this attack before it happened and that is why he continued to read to some grade school kids when he was told of the attack.

Many people wonder why Bush picked that day to start reading to kids far away from Washington and also question why he had never done that before or since.

National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice has refused to testify in public to the Commission. She works for us, is paid with tax money and refuses to testify to a United States Government Commission on the most horrible attack on our civilian population ever. The same is true for George Bush, he won't testify in public either.

What the heck do these people have to hide?

Did George Bush and his administration know about this attack before it took place?

Well, the way they are acting makes me wonder.
