George Finally Gets That Posse Saddled Again

Isn't it amazing what happens when a President's poll numbers start to fall? Americans are looking at the economy and the job market. They are looking at the deficit and healthcare costs. Americans are thinking about their personal liberty and their children's future.

Well all of these domestic topics make George Bush look bad, so he and his administration started thinking back to when their poll numbers were going through the roof and came up with the fact that Osama bin Laden was the key. It was two and a half years ago that George Bush made a speech about bringing Osama back "dead or alive."

This week George has organized another posse and this time they say they are going to get him. Not only are there going to be Special Forces on horse back in Afghanistan like last time, but also George is calling in the bounty hunters that use U2 spy planes, Predator drones, and ground scattered listening devices and sensors to detect vehicle movements. On top of that we are going after Osama from outer space, with the use of satellites to send all the data back to the United States for coordination,

Two years ago Osama got away after being surrounded at his hideout called Tora Bora, in the Mountains of Afghanistan. Now we all know Osama was the mastermind behind the attack on the World Trade center and the Pentagon. We know this because he made that claim. Nobody even questions that maybe he is making that claim for fund raising and recruitment purposes. That attack made Osama the most famous terrorist in world history.

After Osama got away last time, America lost interest in him as he made Washington look bad. So to change the nations focus, George Bush sent American troops to Columbia, the Philippines, The Republic of Georgia, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgystan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, and Iraq. Turkey wouldn't let us in and we had the troops sit in the harbor for weeks before we really believed they were saying no, and we then shipped them off to Kuwait.

None of this worked even after Bush made his "Bring em on"speech, hoping to lure Osama out of hiding, like he would come to Iraq and attack us in person. Osama became a television personality and was on Radio too. He sat in some remote part of the world with a video camera or a tape recorder and would send out his talks to the world. Our FBI and CIA would report, "Yup, that's his voice."

So now George Bush is back on the trail to bring in Osama. He thinks if he does this he is a shoe in for another term. George thinks the millions of Americans that are out of work will praise him and vote for him. He thinks the millions that have lost their retirement plan by using the money saved to live on during his first term are going to vote for the Man who shot Liberty Valance. Sorry, make that the Man who shot Osama bin Laden. George thinks everyone will forget about weapons of mass destruction if he can take down Osama.

George Bush beleives the American voter will see that he had to go after our Bill of Rights and Constitution with that PATRIOT ACT and he only jailed American citizens on his say so, in order to get Osama. It is two years since that first posse failed and in those two years many Americans have learned that their President does not think they way they do.
