Will It Be A Soldier or Marine That Ends This War In Iraq?

Some day either another Soldier or another Marine will get killed and the American people will say that is enough. People by the tens of thousands will take to the streets in every city and make our government stop this war.

The real shame here, is we don't know how many more of our fine young men and women must get killed or maimed before the American public comes to their senses. It took about 35,000 dead American troops in Vietnam before the public woke up. Then another 23,000 had to die before the government in Washington believed what the people were saying and decided to bring the troops home.

Even today if the masses started marching in the streets it would take at least a year to bring the troops home and if Bush gets another term it will take at least six. Five years while Bush keeps telling us that things are getting better over there and one year more, if we elect a sane President in 2008.

The choice is ours. Americans can sit in their homes and watch TV, while every day another one or two Soldiers or Marines get killed. They can keep right on watching those "reality programs" while in the real world more and more troops lose their legs, arms, or eyes.

No matter when we decide to help stop this war against a pitiful third world country that never attacked us or had the means to, remember, it will take years and many deaths before it will all end. The longer we wait, the more families there will be that suffer a life time loss of a loved one.
