George Bush Is Pro-Choice

This year's election is George Bush's to lose. If he alienates his base, antagonizes traditional non voters, or causes the Democrats to turn out in numbers, he is in trouble. George's religious right followers are starting to take a second look at Bush and many do not like what they find. True Pro-Life believers take this subject seriously and protecting the unborn is not their only goal. These people are against Capital Punishment, euthanasia, stem cell research, cloning, and yes, wars that are entered under false pretense.

You could make the argument that George Bush is Pro-Fetus, but there is no chance that you could say the man was Pro-Life.

Either you believe in the sanctity of all life or you don't. A true believer considers all life to be precious and does not say one life must be preserved while others may be taken. A President cannot be a War President as George Bush calls himself and at the same time claim to be Pro-Life.

That is about the same thing as Bush telling the world that he went to war to bring about peace.

George Bush will tell the nation that he is against abortion, while at the same time his orders are causing spontaneous abortions, when pregnant Afghan or Iraqi women are blown to bits with Bush's "Shock and Awe" bombing tactic.

Nobody wants to think about what our War on Terrorism is doing to innocent people, but the fact is that many fetuses have been killed along with infants, babies, adolescents, teenagers, young adults, adults, middle-agers, and the old. Both male and female, Christian and Muslim, healthy and sick, it does not matter; we kill or maim them all.

Many times the number of innocent Americans killed in the 9/11 attack have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan by American forces, but in George Bush's way of thinking, those tens of thousand innocent civilians were OK to kill because in Bush's eyes, his cause was just. Meanwhile the rest of the world is looking at the American Military as another brand of terrorism. It does not matter who kills innocent civilians, their deaths are an act of terrorism.

Presidents that order our troops off to war have to know that thousands and thousands of these innocent lives are extinguished with that order. A person that believed in the sacredness of life would not be able to let loose the dogs of war on any nation, especially when that nation has never attacked our country.

Politics is a game and the players pick the issues and policies that they believe will get them enough votes to win. George Bush has chosen the conservative anti abortion segment of the American public as a core base for his political career.

Bush has to say the right words and profess the right beliefs. This President thinks that is enough to keep these people on his side and he is confident in their votes. However many of these people with a true belief in protecting life are realizing that saying the right words is not enough and Bush's actions as our War President are making them reconsider their support.
