Come on George, you know I hate it when you stand up there and spew out total bullshit at the American people. The whole world knows that you were speaking to them from a United States Army War College. A War College? George, is that the place to talk to the world about how the United States is helping Iraq achieve freedom? I guess it was the right place if you wanted an audience that was sure to applaud when ever they were told to.

The whole world also knows that we are the world's Super Power, we have the greatest military machine in history, but do you have to flaunt the fact that we have Colleges, just for the study of War. You know George, we don't have an American Peace College.

Your whole speech was intended to link "your war" in Iraq with our "War on Terrorism." Wasn't it just last year that you told the Nation that there was no link between Saddam Hussein, Iraq, and 9/11?

I am really hoping that you were making a sick joke about our battle in Fallujah. You said that "Soldiers and Marines could have used overwhelming force. Our commanders, however, consulted with Iraq's governing council and local officials and determined that massive strikes against the enemy would alienate the local population and increase support for the insurgency."

George, we dropped 2,000 pound bombs on that city. George, that is using overwhelming force. A hundred Marines were killed and about a thousand were wounded and we killed hundreds and hundreds of innocent civilians. George, we got our asses kicked in that city. Don't they tell you what is going on over there? Now we have one of Saddam Hussein's Republican Guard Generals in charge of that city, wake up will you Mr. President.

The young radical Cleric who you talked about having an illegal militia in "Najaf and Karbala and Kufa," had 1% of the Iraqis backing him last fall. Now that you have pissed him off and made him into a hero, it is reported that 62% of Iraq backs him. Real good George.

George, you talk about Iraq's new military like they really are something. Last month most of them forgot how to fight or took up arms against us. You tell us that, "the eventual goal is an Iraqi army of 35,000 soldiers in 27 battalions fully prepared to defend their country." George have you been smoking dope? You tell us we need 138,000 of our troops to defend Iraq, but Iraq will only need 35,000 of their own troops to defend themselves?

If we haven't been able to get the electricity up and running as well as Saddam did, with our embargo, in this last year, how the hell are we going to get everything else up and running? You make it sound like we are doing Iraq a favor by fixing everything up. George we bombed Iraq's utilities. Do you know that is a War crime?

You talked about the, "15 NATO allies, who together have more than 17,000 troops on the ground in Iraq." I don't know if you know this, but take away Great Britain's troops and those from Poland and the other 13 countries have only about 4,000 troops between them and Spain took their troops home and so did a couple of other countries. You know George I really wished you would read the newspaper and quit letting your staff brief you on everything.

You talked about a new law "that opens Iraq to Foreign Investment for the first time in decades." Do the Iraqi people want this, or was this a law passed by our puppet governing council? You know, the one made up with convicted felons we have been paying millions of American tax dollars to for years. Remember, Iraq doesn't have a government yet. You just got done telling us that the United Nations has not told us yet, who they are picking to govern Iraq. You want to tell me and the rest of the world, that corporations are going to start investing in Iraq? Most of the western civilians doing work over there have left as has the UN and the Red Cross. George, you really don't read anything do you?

President Bush, you still don't know who the United Nations has decided to put in charge of Iraq yet do you? What happens if we don't like them? Will we have any time to do a background check of these people or have you wasted thousands of American troops killed and wounded so that the United Nations could call the shots?

George, are you going to keep up with the bullshit about "just a few bad troops" doing everything wrong at the Iraqi prisons. Don't you know that American Senators have said that the crimes in those prisons go right up the Chain of Command? Your own Generals testified to that fact at Senate hearings.

George, President Bush, please start leveling with us. Tell us what has to happen to get our troops out of there. I would like for you to start reading about what is really happening in Iraq. Please stop listening to the people in your administration as they are feeding you the bullshit you are passing off to us.

Take just a few weeks and do your own fact finding. Talk to your dad or some of the many Generals that know what is going on. Listen to all sides. Quit locking yourself into the White House or the Ranch. Turn on the TV and watch the News Hour, listen to Congress. You know what Mr. President, there are people in Congress that have actually been to a war and they would be happy to explain to you what really happens to our troops in one. Remember you don't have anybody at the White House that has been to any war. Like you, they all went deaf, when their nation was making its Call to Arms.

I got an appointment at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. I thought about canceling, but it takes almost a year to get another one. So I won't be writing a column for a couple of days, but I will get one done for the weekend. I figured out that round trip, it will cost me, $22.50 more in gas than last year. Remember, Washington tells us, there is almost no inflation.
