Helping the Middle East?

Anton La Guardia, the Diplomatic Editor of www.telegraph.co out of the UK has written, "Israel admitted yesterday that it is buying 500 "bunker buster" bombs which could be used to hit Iran's nuclear facilities, as Teheran paraded ballistic missiles as a warning against attack."

Of course you would have to know that these bombs, which can penetrate more than 7ft of reinforced concrete, are being sold to Israel by the good old USA. I could see selling them a few of these bombs for defense, but 500?

An Israeli source said, "This is not the sort of ordinance needed for the Palestinian front. Bunker busters could serve Israel against Iran or possibly Syria."

Yesterday George Bush was telling the world how our war in Iraq was going to bring peace to the Middle East and today we are told we are selling 500 huge bombs to one country in that same area. Israel already has atomic bombs, but Washington didn't think that was enough.

I have said this before, all of our wars are about money. Some Americans are getting rich from selling arms to whoever they want to. We are not trying to bring peace anywhere because we make too much money off of arm sales all over this globe. Peace would be bad for the American economy.

Now don't think that Israel used their own money to buy these bombs. No way. We give Israel billions of dollars every year so that they can take American tax money and give it to American Arms Merchants. It is called Corporate Welfare. Rich Americans get richer with this form of welfare, while these same people rant and rave about any help we give to poor American citizens.

Our country and the Bush administration are not trying to bring peace to the Middle East, we are trying to get a foothold there so we can keep troops there forever. If there was peace, American troops would not be needed and without American troops there, we would have less influence. Influence means power and control, and that is what we want

War, all wars mean big money for some Americans. We don't even have to fight in them any more to still make money. In some wars we supply both sides. We supplied both Iraq and Iran in their war. We backed the Taliban and Osama bin Laden for years. Many of the arms used against us in Iraq were paid for with American money. Saddam in case you forgot, worked for us for years. All of those years when he was killing his own people, Saddam was our boy, our friend. We just looked the other way back then. Now we shudder in horror when we see the mass graves we paid for.
