But Mom, I Wasn't Lying, I Was Just Distorting the Facts

Can you imagine using that line on your mother? Well that is the only line either George Bush or John Kerry can use on you or me when they are talking about what they have said in the last two Debates. Distorting the facts is really telling lies.

How can you call it a debate when both men repeatedly use false numbers when they talk about their own plan or when they are talking about their opponent's plan?

Right now both George Bush and Dick Cheney are running around the country telling the Nation that creating 96,000 new jobs in September proves that they are doing well. The fact is that we need to create between 135,000 and 150,000 jobs every month to absorb the population growth. Bush and Cheney are claiming things are going good, when the truth is that we lost ground last month and almost every month since they took office.

Bush and Cheney have had the weakest job recovery since the 1930s, but they lie about it hoping that the American people don't understand the numbers and they don't.

Here is an easy one. Every night it is reported that 4,000 illegal aliens sneak into our country through just Arizona and maybe 8,000 across every border. Now sure some of these people are kids, but even if half are children, then we would need 120,000 new jobs just for the illegal people coming in each month. Bush and Cheney are losing ground like no administration before them.

Even when they "create" new jobs, those new jobs do not pay as much as the jobs they are sending overseas. Look at the flu vaccine trouble we are having now. We have to buy our medicine from a foreign country and nobody, and that includes John Kerry, says a word about the federal government buying overseas, but you and I can't buy from Canada because George Bush is owned by the Drug Companies.

Both Bush and Kerry have given their word to defend our country, but they both sit there with their thumbs up their ass, while tens of thousands of illegal aliens cross our border every month. If you were a terrorist, how would you get here? All you have to do now is learn how to speak Spanish and walk in.

We have no idea of how many "Illegals" there are here now, but many estimates run as high as 12 million. Yes, there are a lot of low paying jobs that Americans don't want, but those jobs are low paying because men like Bush and Kerry do nothing to stop the flow of cheap labor coming here each and every night. Corporations who make billions off of this cheap labor give part of that wind fall to both the Democrats and Republicans. Bush and Kerry are both bought.

We can spend hundreds of billions of tax dollars in the Middle East, but how much do we spend in Mexico and South America to make those areas economically good enough to keep their people down there? If they could make even 50% of what they make here, at home, they would never come to our country and they could buy some of our goods. We want to help people thousands of miles away, while we do nothing in comparison for our next door neighbors.

So, when you reflect on last nights debate, remember that both Bush and Kerry "play" with the numbers they use, and remember this too, 8,000 more illegal aliens walked into our country last night and 8,000 more will tonight.
