What Is Happening To Us?

Natural disasters are supposed to bring all the good things in America out in the open, people helping people, charities using their experience to end chaos, and our government sending the resources needed to help, resources we have paid for with out tax dollars.

What has happened in New Orleans makes you sick. When the government and the charities failed and people, instead of helping each other, started raping and killing each other, what did our leadership do?

First off they wanted to take all the weapons away from the law-abiding citizens still in New Orleans, and instead of providing security for the people, heavily armed paramilitary mercenaries were moved in. Mercenaries who answer to no legal authority.

You may have heard of the company providing these thugs. Blackwater is the name of the company, and they have been operating out of Iraq for the US Government for years. Some people might take exception with me calling these people thugs, but these people are in an American city, and they are carrying M-16 assault rifles.

Here we are in the fifth year of George Bush's term as President and he has the police disarming law-abiding American citizens, and he has allowed a private security firm to go in to an American city that is have every problem possible, and these "security" people can be armed like they would be if they were in a combat zone in some third world country.

Bush has spread our military and National Guard so thin, that the government of the United States must now allow Mercenaries to patrol our own soil. Mercenaries, who answer to no one.

Tonight it has been reported that this hurricane disaster is going to cost us hundreds of billions of dollars. Money we don't have because of the actions of George Bush and a Republican Congress, who have given almost every tax break they could to the rich in America, but continued to spend even more than the Democrats. Now we will borrow more money and pay that to the rich to rebuild the storm damaged South.

George Bush is going to New Orleans today and we will see if he says anything about the government confiscating weapons that citizens can use to protect themselves. We will see if George will speak out about Mercenaries on American soil. If he says nothing, we will know where he stands.
