Fourteen More To Be Honored

On Friday fourteen more American troops were killed in Iraq, and according to George Bush, these fourteen must be honored like the two thousand plus who have already died are honored, by continuing this war.

I can't believe that even one dead American would want more Americans to join them in death, so that George Bush can claim some sort of victory. In fact I would have to believe that the thousands who have died already know that their deaths have been a waste, and that they now know that only God has the right to choose who will live and who will die. I am not buying that George Bush's War in Iraq, is God's War.

Every day more Americans and innocent Iraqis are killed and maimed because our country feared Iraq so much that we had to attack. We, the United States of America, and George Bush, started this war, just like Germany and Hitler started World War II, just like Japan started the war in the Pacific, just like we started a war in Korea and Vietnam, or like the Soviet union started one in Afghanistan.

I pray America one day will become a Christian country and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. America could love its enemies and pray for those who persecute us. I know that a hard thing to do, but that is what Jesus Christ taught us.
