Who In Their Right Mind Would Ever Trust George Bush or His Administration Again?

Some people are acting surprised and angry that the Pentagon would pay Iraqi newspapers to let American troops write positive stories about what our military is doing in Iraq, and have Iraqi reporters put their names on the byline. Surprised? Why would any American be surprised by something like that? Bush and his administration did the same thing... right here at home. The Bush administration used tax dollars, and paid several American columnists to do the same thing. They wrote good things about the Bush administration and George's "no child left behind" program.

So why would any of us be surprised that Bush and his people would subvert a free press in Iraq, if they would do almost the same thing here at home?

Think back a ways and remember when George and his people has a Republican blogger pose as a reporter, so he could ask some "softball" questions to the President in the White House press room. Better yet, think about all the Bush administration produced news stories, that were fed to the public as real news, but in truth were part of a White House propaganda campaign that was paid for with tax dollars.

Think of all the lies that were foisted on us by George and his minions. There was the story of weapons of mass destruction, the Saddam/al Qaeda connection, mushroom shaped clouds, yellow cake, Mission Accomplished, the story about how Iraqi oil would pay for the war, the story about the Iraqi people laying down flowers for our troops to walk on. George Bush and his people have become unbelievable.

The vast majority of the world does not trust or believe what President Bush says or what his people have to say. Think about this quote from George Bush, "We do not torture." The world knows we torture. They have seen the photographs and have read the reports in our own newspapers and magazines.

Today, the majority of Americans no longer trust George Bush or his administration. At one time George had a 90% approval rating and he blew that away with lies and underhanded dealings. George lost his integrity and he is not going to ever get that back.... Three more years.
