What Kind Of A Choice Is This?

Barack Obama was among the 69 senators voting to broaden government spy powers and give immunity to phone companies that aided in secret wiretapping.

That quote was from yesterday's front page of the New York Times. It was only a few weeks ago that Obama was telling America how bad the bill was that he just voted for. In fact the Senator said he would filibuster the bill before he let it pass in the form he ended up voting for. Of course when Senator Obama was talking tough about protecting our rights to privacy, he was still in the primary race, now he believes he can do as he wants, because in his eyes he has the election in the bag.

On that same bill, John McCain didn't even show up to vote. McCain was out campaigning, and yes, he is still getting his pay check for being a Senator. If you are wondering, Hillary Clinton voted against the bill.

PITTSBURGH (Reuters) — U.S. Republican presidential candidate John McCain, who once sang in jest about bombing Iran, on Tuesday reacted to a report of rising U.S. cigarette exports to the country by saying it may be "a way of killing 'em."

John McCain will tell you about all the trips he has taken to Iraq, but he still doesn't know the difference between the Sunni and Shia factions in that country. John McCain doesn't know how to act as a president and leader of the free world either. Sometimes he sings little songs about bombing Iran and now he is joking about killing Iranians with our tobacco products. Bombing and killing people is never a joking matter, especially if you want to represent the people of the United States. In all seriousness, the United States kills more people than any other nation, and that is no joking matter.
