Obama, In The Middle Of A Lie

Almost since the election, Barack Obama supporters have been saying to me, "Barack never promised to end the war. You just wanted to hear that."

I don't care what any Obama supporter says today trying to cover for their candidate. I know, and they know, President Obama's handling of George Bush's wars has given the Democrat Party and President Obama ownership of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. President Obama has had plenty of time to put together an exit strategy for both wars, but he has not done it.

I don't know what the hold-up is in putting together a plan to get our troops home, other than the fact that each day Washington can prolong these wars, means millions in profits for the Military Industrial Complex.

The following is a quote from Candidate Obama, telling us in no uncertain terms that his number one project after getting elected was to get our troops home. He said, "You Can Take That To The Bank." Of course we now know, that was a lie.

Obama's Promise To End The War, 2007 — "You Can Take That To The Bank"

Quote: "I will promise you this, that if we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do. I will get our troops home. We will bring an end to this war. You can take that to the bank."
