I Won't Vote For Either One

Republicans think that their political party has most of the right answers when it comes to running America. The Democrats feel their party knows what is best. Those two groups will argue back and forth endlessly about who is right.

Neither side will admit that both parties are closer to being the same than they are to being different. Republicans and Democrats both love war. They both love to spend tax money. In fact they just love to spend. Both political factions love spending so much, they both are willing to borrow so they can spend more, and both parties have done just that.

Neither party can claim that their party is fiscally responsible because our national debt has gone higher no matter which party is in charge. Both political parties endorse the use of secret prisons. Both parties are willing to use torture, and both parties back despots all over the globe.

Actually, there is so little difference between these two political factions, that I can not in good conscience agree with either one.

What can I do? First off, I can stop voting for either party in any election. If a "good" man or woman running for office claims to belong to either of these two parties, they are in my way of thinking part of the problem and any vote for them is a wasted vote.

So, from now on I refuse to vote Democrat or Republican, period. For me, it is third party or independent. Republicans and Democrats are out of the question.
