There Is A Lot Of Hate In This Country

I see it on Face Book all the time. Democrats hate the Republicans who were elected last fall. The same is true about Republicans when you read their thoughts about President Obama.

It no longer seems to be a difference in opinion on policy. Now it looks like people won't even look at an idea if it is coming from the other side.

This behavior didn't just start one day, it has been building for years, but the leaders of this hate movement, I believe, are our elected officials in Washington. It truth, those we elect are akin to professional wrestlers. They will rant and rave about some politician from the other political party, but in a social or media setting they act like old friends.

Political parties have learned if they can get their backers to hate the other party, there isn't much chance of those people ever switching allegiances

There is one scenario they didn't think of though. That would be their party members being so fed up with the hate going on that they drop out of politics, and become members of the largest political group in America... the Independent Voter.

More and more I am running into people who say, "A Pox on both of their houses, I'm not participating any more." Americans are getting fed up in droves, and someday an independent politician might just have a bigger group backing them than either a Democrat or Republican does.

Hate is destroying America. Politicians hate the other party. They also are trying to teach us that we should hate Muslims, the Chinese, of course we should all still hate the Russians. Then they wonder about why some blacks hate whites and some whites hate blacks.

Well, hate is a tool our politicians use to their advantage, in fact they promote it. Hate will destroy our nation, but I don't think they care.
