Where Are We Going?

Good Question. Where is America going? Right now we are borrowing money from China to, if you believe Barack Obama, to protect ourselves from China. Do I have your attention yet?

Ok, how about this. Did you know President Obama is moving troops to Australia? Here is how the Washington Post puts it:

By David Nakamura, Published: November 16

CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA — The Obama administration announced plans Wednesday to establish a permanent military presence in Australia, part of the president's high-profile foreign policy shift toward Asia that is intended to counterbalance China's growing power.

The move to send 250 Marines to bases here for six-month tours starting next summer, eventually rotating 2,500 troops through the country, is the first step toward the administration's larger goal of repositioning the United States as a leader on economics and security in the fast-developing Asia-Pacific region.

So that is one move, another is taking our troops out of Iraq, but did we really do that? Here is what Wolf Blitzer said about that on December 22nd.:

Meanwhile, some 17,000 Americans remain in Iraq—half are diplomats and their support staff, the others are private security contractors. As I've said before, I am very worried about their safety if civil war erupts.

I guess you can believe that we have 8,500 diplomats and staff there, I don't, but I do believe we have many thousands of American mercenaries left in Iraq. Yes, they are not US troops per se, but they are Americans who will fight, kill, and die for our country, or maybe for the money tax payers pay them. The President can say he pulled the troops, but when he does, he is less than honest, because we really are leaving Americans in Iraq.

But wait, there's more. We know President Obama is moving troops into Africa, and that many of the troops pulled from Iraq are heading back to Kuwait to wait for something, and nobody can miss the fact that we are playing games trying to push Iran into some sort of action.

So, where are we as a nation going? Well, it sure looks like we are going to war, again, someplace, any place. Our economy depends on it ,and you know President Obama knows that seldom do Americans switch leaders in the middle of a war.
