I thought that the "Wimp Man," Dick Cheney was going to come out with it at the Veterans of Foreign Wars National convention, but it looks like he is saving it for George to utter. You might wonder at the wimp man label, well everyone has said that Dick was the stronger of the dynamic duo in the White House, but that is far from true.

Dick like all Americans his age had his chance to either suck it up and join up or he could have looked at his conscience and he could then have taken the other patriotic action, protesting the Vietnam war. He did neither. Dick sat in school and later in life became the embodiment of the true American tough guy. The guy just reeks of power or the love of power.

It takes a lot of Brass to stand before all of those veterans and tell them lies about why we should as a Nation be making more Veterans of Foreign Wars. Dick said that Iraq was a mortal threat to the United States. Iraq? Give me a break will you? Iraq is a third world country that was defeated first by Iran then the UN with our lead. They have been bombed by us for the last twelve years on an almost weekly basis and over one million of their citizens, half of those children under five, have died of water born diseases, caused by the American destruction of Iraq's water system and sewage treatment plants.

I doubt if Iraq has much of an air force and all reports tell us it has no intercontinental missiles or nuclear bombs. Also Saddam might be close to as evil as Dick paints him, but no one has ever said the man is dumb. He has thumbed his nose at America ever since we stopped giving him millions of dollars in arms and chemicals to make weapons. That was about fifteen years ago.

A man with Saddam's sense of survival is not about to give George the Second any excuse to destroy Iraq. Terrorist hate Saddam, because as Osama bin Laden has said "Saddam is a bad Muslim." Mortal threat to America, Saddam is not. This line by Dick Cheney is a lie but not the "BIG" one.

Think back to Vietnam. Washington wanted to go in, but why? Then the "Big Lie," the Gulf of Tonkin, where American ships just out for a cruise were attacked by those blood thirsty North Vietnamese. President Johnson sent in the planes to retaliate and over 58,000 Americans lost their lives.

Panama, We wanted to get rid of their president, Manuel Noriega. Just like Saddam, Noreiga was a president that we had lavished millions of tax dollars on. We needed the "Big Lie" and this time it was "drugs." Hey, we had already made the guy a multimillionaire, but he wasn't playing ball like before so we lied about the guy, who was a real scum, but we always need that big headline and the just the right headline that made America look to be saving the world from "Evil."

George, our George of today, has set up the next "Big Lie" with his "Axis of Evil" speech eight months ago. As another set up piece, CNN has put out the headline "Iraq has tons of chemical weapons."

No, I don't know what the real "Big Lie" is going to be. I do know that they have been searching for it ever since that axis of evil speech and every time they come up with something new, somebody, maybe a former General or a weapons inspector, shoots them down. It is however coming, so watch for it on a channel near you.
