I Was Just Wondering

I was just wondering if any one other than myself ever thought that maybe it was a mistake to place the nation of Israel in the Middle East. Just a thought mind you, but it has been over fifty years and things don't look like they are going any where. Maybe Jews and Arabs can't get along no matter how long they try. Or maybe just a few more thousand dying will do the trick. I don't know, but how long are we going to keep this up.

Would it be wrong to put a time limit like either peace must come in twelve years or before another twelve thousand are killed on either side? Then we would have something to measure by and we could then say that after the time or the killing was reached with no progress, "We have to make a fundamental change here."

I don't know, maybe I am just too pessimistic, but this doesn't look like it is going to work this Palestinian/ Israeli thing. We have God telling each group that they are right and that makes it pretty tough to come to terms and how do you give ground when you have God telling you what to do?

Both sides have divine intervention working for them.

I was just wondering if Americans would stand up for liberty and our nations freedom if say Mexico or Canada invaded us. Look at history, no nation has stayed on top that long and with the people we have elected for the last ten or fifteen years, I can see us start to slide already.

Without having the Soviet Union for our "foil" it is hard for us to judge where we are and where we are going.

I also wonder if there are others like myself that have the utmost respect for the courage of Palestinian suicide bombers? I would like to think that my son and daughter would do the same if they were put in that same position. Those that are actively trying to disarm America are also trying to put the citizens of America into the same position that Israel has those Palestinians in now. With almost no weapons to fight the Israeli invasion of their home land the Palestinians are forced to use the crudest of delivery systems for their weapons and that is the human. Israel gets to use those tanks and planes and helicopters that America has given them to deliver their weapons on the people of Palestine. How very civilized.

Does anyone ever wonder like I do how America can go all agog on Palestine and their killing of Israelis when in this round, 1368 Palestinians have been killed to the 433 Israelis. I was just wondering if Washington has a different scoring system and a Israeli is worth four points and a Palestine is worth only one. That would make everything clear and even I could see how it was much worse to kill 433 than 1368. I was just wondering and I guess that clears it all up.

Now I wonder when President Bush will start telling the truth and come right out and say America is for Israel no matter what they do. When will America start to be honest with the world and tell that world that we supply weapons to countries so that they can start wars so that we can sell more weapons.

I just wonder if maybe the world would think way more of America if we came right out and told them that this whole terrorist war thing in Afghanistan and all these new laws for American citizens was to get us unfettered access to new oil reserves and at the same time, tame the American people so that corporations can rule America without hiding behind politicians.
