It Takes A Sick Or Desperate Man To Want To Drop Atomic Bombs

Is America now in a "Desperate" situation? Have we been pushed into a corner where atomic bombs are be the only weapon that can save us?

A new report titled "National Strategy to Combat Weapons of Mass Destruction" has been issued by Condoleezza Rice and Homeland Security Chief Tom Ridge. These two defenders of America have decided that other nations do not take weapons of mass destruction as seriously as we do. These two forget, we are both the nation that invented these weapons for the world and we are the only nation that has used them.

In their asessment of other nations they say, "For them, these are not weapons of last resort, but militarily useful weapons of choice intended to overcome our nation's advantages in conventual forces and to deter us from responding to aggression against our friends and allies in regions of interest."

I would just like to point out that the weapons of choice to kill three thousand Americans were dollar twenty nine cent box cutters. Nobody is using weapons of mass destruction against anyone in the world. Saddam was put in the "corner" during the Gulf War and he refused to use these weapons.

Just where do these "them" get weapons of mass destruction? Well many of "them" get those weapons from us, that is from the USA. That is right we give our "friends" and "allies" all the chemical, biological agents, and recipes for making these weapons. In fact it was Ronald Reagan and George Bush senior that gave everything needed to Saddam Hussein and Iraq.

One more thing these two "Defenders of the Flag" forget is that "allies and friends" don't always stay that way. Remember, Iraq and Iran were both our friend and ally. Now they are two thirds of the "Axis of Evil."

So if the rest of the world isn't using weapons of mass destruction and America is still the strongest nation on earth, then that leaves us the fact that it would take a sick man to use an atomic bomb. George Bush has not only threatened their use, but he now wants to start testing new bombs and take America out of the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty.

In this report by Ms. Rice and Mr. Ridge they say, "The United States will continue to make clear that it reserves the right to respond with overwhelming force" and "In addition to our conventional and nuclear response and defense capabilities, our over all deterrent posture against WMD threats is reinforced by effective intelligence, surveillance, and interdiction, and domestic law enforcement capabilities"

Intelligence, surveillance, and interdiction are in addition to a "nuclear response." America is the only nation on earth that is threatening the use of nuclear bombs. Now just where does that come from?

That threat comes from a country (USA) that sells the most weapons in the world. Every year for over a decade the United States of America has sold more weapons to third world countries than any other nation. If you don't have the money, that's OK because we will loan it to you. You still can't afford them? America will give them to you, but remember, if you threaten us with them some time down the road, we reserve the right to obliterate your nation with nuclear weapons that we can have, but you can't. So just use our weapons to kill your own citizens and neighbors and America will leave you alone.

Mess with us and you are history. That is the new Bush doctrine in a nut shell. Still we will flood this world with more weapons that the world could possibly use for defense and we will wonder where all the violence comes from.
