Short and Simple

The United States attacked Iraq out of fear of Weapons of Mass Destruction. We can argue if George Bush lied about those weapons or we can say he was given bad intelligence. The fact remains, we attacked Iraq because of our worry that Saddam might use those terrible weapons on us or give/sell them to terrorists.

So, we attacked, searched the country, and found out we were wrong. One way or the other, Iraq had no weapons.

Today we have 2,025 American troops dead and 15,353 American troops wounded. On top of those numbers, tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis have been killed and nobody knows how many thousands have been wounded.

Still Iraq has no Weapons of Mass Destruction. That country couldn't hurt us before we attacked and they can't hurt us now.

We made a big mistake and it has cost us big time, and it will continue to cost us as long as we prolong that mistake by keeping our troops there.
