Thousands of Children Molested, and Nobody Is Going To Jail
by James Glaser July 17, 2007 I was watching the news last night, and they we explaining how the Catholic Church in Los Angles was paying 660 million to over 500 and some people who had been molested as children by Priests in that city. The report went on to explain how children were molested by Catholic Priests in Boston, Portland, and several other cities. I know a few years ago there was a settlement paid out by the Church in Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Now this abuse wasn't by one or two rogue Priests. In fact in Los Angles those abused claimed that hundreds of priests were involved. The Catholic Church is both rich and powerful. Because of that fact, Catholic Priests for the most part can rape young boys and girls, and get away with it. The Bishops and Cardinals in charge protect those Priests working for them, and move them around from parish to parish where they can prey on new children. I know in America if you have enough money you can do just about anything, but I never believed that mass child abuse would be tolerated. I was wrong. |
