This Health Care Thing, I’m Just Sayin’
by James Glaser March 4, 2010 I have to tell you, I am pretty sick of this health care thing President Obama is trying to pass. Here are the three things I figured out about it. The House Bill is 1990 pages long The Senate Bill is 2074 pages long President Obama's Bill is 2700 pages long Every one of those bills is way too long for any of us to get a clear understanding of what they contain, or if they are a good bill or not. Also, I think a good rule of thumb when Congress or the White House is trying to pass something new, the longer the bill the more shenanigans it will contain. Enough said. |
