While We Were Watching The Oil Gush Into The Gulf

In the past two weeks, while the media had us honed in on the Gulf oil disaster, 30 American troops were being killed in President Obama's War on Terror in Iraq and Afghanistan. Past numbers would tell us that well over a hundred troops were wounded, but the number of troops wounded has been a Pentagon/White House secret for ten years now. Like the number of our troops wounded, we have no idea of how many innocent Iraqi and Afghan civilians were killed, wounded, or maimed in this time frame either. That's it. I have nothing more to say, it just so sad. |
